Letter to the Editor: “Experienced Litigator Who is Ready to Serve as Town Justice”

The Record-Review

To the Editor:

Please join me in voting to elect Clark Petschek as Bedford Town Justice. Clark’s extensive legal experience, intellect, and demeanor make him the ideal choice for judge. He is ready to serve on the bench now, and he is exactly who Bedford needs on its Court.

The depth and breadth of Clark’s legal experience is outstanding. He practiced civil and criminal litigation for over a decade at WilmerHale, a leading international law firm. He then served as in-house counsel for an investment bank and subsequently became the general counsel of a risk management company. Notably, for the last three years, Clark has served as a Hearing Officer for the New York State Gaming Commission and the New York State Retirement System. As a Hearing Officer, Clark presides over administrative cases, weighs evidence, and renders written decisions.

Experience matters. Judges in our Town Court must be capable of adjudicating a wide array of criminal and civil matters. Clark’s broad legal experience (and especially his litigation expertise) make him perfectly suited to serve as our Town’s next judge. Clark Petschek is the right choice for Bedford.
