Meet Clark

Clark grew up in Katonah and has been a member of the Bedford community for over 40 years. He has served on Bedford’s Zoning Board of Appeals since 2012 and was a founding member of Bedford’s Veterans Committee.

Clark graduated from Harvard with a degree in Economics and then served the country for 8 years as an Army officer in the Special Forces (Green Berets) and Infantry.

Upon leaving the military, Clark earned a law degree from Northeastern University and embarked on a diverse 20-year legal career. For more than a decade, Clark practiced law at WilmerHale, a leading international law firm, where he litigated cases in state and federal courts. While at WilmerHale, he volunteered in the public defender’s office and represented defendants in district courts and drug court programs. Subsequently, Clark served as in-house counsel at BMO Capital Markets and then DDCues LLC, a risk management firm he founded and ran with a former Army colleague.

For the past three years, Clark has served as a Hearing Officer for the New York State Retirement System and the New York State Gaming Commission, and he adjudicates appeals and claims on behalf of those agencies.

Clark and his wife Michelle raised their sons Chad, Tyler and Kyle in Katonah. Their children attended Katonah Elementary and the John Jay schools.
