Why I’m Running

I am running for Town Justice because of my deep commitment to Bedford, public service, and the law.

Every individual appearing before Bedford’s Court deserves to have their case adjudicated fairly and impartially by a judge with experience, intellect, sound judgment, and compassion. I have those qualifications, and I believe that my extensive experience as a Hearing Officer and litigator, coupled with my community involvement, has prepared me for the Town Justice position. I am committed to serving Bedford with integrity and humility. If elected, I will decide cases justly and without prejudice or passion.

It is vital to the people coming before the Court that proceedings are handled fairly and expeditiously. Delays (whether real or perceived) undermine the effectiveness of the Court and the public’s confidence in it. If elected, I will ensure cases are resolved in a timely and transparent fashion.

I have been a member of the Bedford community for over 40 years. I grew up here, and my wife and I raised our three sons here. I am running for Town Justice to continue to serve this wonderful community and keep Bedford as a special place to live and work.
